Friends, family, and fellow students gathered at Tech901 on Tuesday, May 1st for a celebration recognizing our first Code 1.0 graduates of 2018. Fifteen students completed the demanding 14 week course.

"Graduating students of the Code 1.0 program have completed projects and training that includes many of the topics you'd see in a 4-year Computer Science degree." -Brad Montgomery, Tech901 Code 1.0 Instructor

This introduction to Computer Programming remains one of our most popular courses with high demand from prospective students and Memphis employers ready to fill their skills gap. Previous Code 1,0 graduates have found successful developer jobs after graduation. Read Kelly Miller's success story here.

Steve Jobs once said, “I think everybody in this country should learn how to program a computer because it teaches you how to think.” Programming languages are all about logic and problem-solving. You’ll learn how to break down problems, whether in programming or elsewhere, into small, logical steps. Code 1.0 teaches you these skills, with the benefit of an in-class instructor.

Congratulations again to our recent graduates! We have two upcoming  Code 1.0 courses this year, so don't miss out. We are offering a daytime course this summer beginning July 9th and an evening course that boots up September 10th. You can see all of the upcoming Tech901 courses here.
